تدعو Wood حالياً لتقديم عروض الاهتمام للانضمام إلى فريقنا كمهندس تآكل أول في أبوظبي. هذه وظيفة إعارة للعميل تدعم أحد عملائنا الرئيسيين في قطاع الطاقة، لمدة ثلاث سنوات.
سيقوم مهندس التآكل الأول بدعم تنفيذ أنشطة الهندسة المتعلقة بالتآكل والمواد كجزء من برنامج أوسع لإدارة سلامة الأصول لصاحب عمل رئيسي في الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
ستكون المهمة مسؤولة عن إجراء تقييمات التآكل، ودعم دراسات السلامة، وتطوير المخرجات الفنية وتقديم خبرة هندسية لفرق متعددة التخصصات تشارك في تشغيل وصيانة مرافق النفط والغاز.
سيتم إدراج المرشح الناجح ضمن منظمة العميل وسيُسهم في الاستمرارية والموثوقية والأداء للأصول الإنتاجية الحيوية.

المسؤوليات:
- تنفيذ دراسات الهندسة التآكلية والتقييمات الفنية للأصول التشغيلية للعميل.
- دعم تطوير استراتيجيات إدارة التآكل وبرامج رصد التآكل.
- المشاركة في دراسات تقييم مخاطر التآكل (CRAS).
- دعم تطوير وتنفيذ نافذة التشغيل السلامة (IOW).
- مراجعة اختيار المواد ومخاطر التآكل والتهديدات المتعلقة بFacilities المعالجة وأنابيبها.
- تطوير تقارير فنية وتوصيات هندسية ومخرجات إدارة السلامة.
- المساهمة في تقييمات التفتيش المعتمد على المخاطر (RBI) ومراجعة المنهجية.
- دعم فحص الملاءمة للخدمة (FFS)، تحليل السبب الجذري (RCA) ودراسات تمديد عمر الأصول.
- المشاركة في زيارات الموقع، مراجعات السلامة، ورش عمل فنية واجتماعات المعنيين.
- التنسيق مع فرق متعددة التخصصات لضمان التنفيذ الفعال لتوصيات السلامة.
- التأكد من الامتثال لمتطلبات العميل والكودات والمعايير وأفضل الممارسات.

المتوقع:
- درجة البكالوريوس في الهندسة الميكانيكية، هندسة المواد، الهندسة الكيميائية، هندسة التآكل، علم المعادن أو تخصص ذو صلة.
- يفضل أن يكون مؤهل AMPP/NACE تقني تآكل أول أو ما يعادله.
- شهادة API 571.
- شهادة API 580 ميزة إضافية.
- توجه نحو الحلول مع حكم تقني قوي.
- مهارات تنظيم وتقرير قوية
- القدرة على إدارة أولويات وأصحاب مصلحة متعددين.
- العمل كساعي فريق مع نهج تعاوني.
- الالتزام بتطوير مهني مستمر والتميز في HSSE.
المعرفة والمهارات والخبرة:
- خبرة لا تقل عن 10 سنوات في الهندسة التآكلية والمواد ضمن صناعة النفط والغاز أو الصناعات ذات الصلة.
- خبرة في دعم إدارة التآكل وبرامج إدارة السلامة.
- خبرة في دعم دراسات تقييم مخاطر التآكل (CRAS)، وتطوير نافذة التشغيل والسلامة (IOW) وبرامج إدارة سلامة الأصول.
- معرفة عملية بمراقبة التآكل، واختيار المواد وآليات التدهور.
- خبرة في دعم RBI وFFS ودراسات تمديد عمر الأصول.
- الالتزام بالمعايير API وASME وISO وDNV وAMPP/NACE.
- القدرة على إعداد تقارير هندسية وتقييمات وتوصيات فنية.
- خبرة في العمل مع الأصول التشغيلية والمرافق البنية التحتية.
- يفضل وجود خبرة سابقة في دعم شركات النفط الوطنية أو المشغلين الدوليين الرئيسيين أو الأصول التشغيلية في الشرق الأوسط.
- مهارات اتصال كتابية وشفوية قوية.
Job description
Wood is currently inviting expressions of interest for a Senior Corrosion Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. This is a client secondment role supporting one of our major energy sector clients, with an assignment duration of three years.
The Senior Corrosion Engineer will support the delivery of corrosion and materials engineering activities as part of a broader asset integrity management programme for a major operating client in the UAE.
The role will be responsible for undertaking corrosion assessments, supporting integrity studies, developing technical deliverables and providing engineering expertise to multidisciplinary teams involved in the operation and maintenance of oil and gas facilities.
The successful candidate will be embedded within the client's organisation and will contribute to the ongoing integrity, reliability and performance of critical production assets.

Responsibilities:
- Deliver corrosion engineering studies and technical assessments for client operating assets.
- Support development of corrosion management strategies and corrosion monitoring programmes.
- Participate in Corrosion Risk Assessment Studies (CRAS).
- Support Integrity Operating Window (IOW) development and implementation activities.
- Review material selection, corrosion risks and integrity threats associated with process facilities and pipelines.
- Develop technical reports, engineering recommendations and integrity management deliverables.
- Contribute to Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) assessments and methodology reviews.
- Support Fitness-for-Service (FFS), Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and asset life extension studies.
- Participate in site visits, integrity reviews, technical workshops and stakeholder meetings.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective implementation of integrity recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with client requirements, applicable codes, standards and best practices.

Expected:
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Corrosion Engineering, Metallurgy or related discipline.
- AMPP/NACE Senior Corrosion Technologist or equivalent preferred.
- API 571 certification.
- API 580 certification adventageous.
- Solutions-oriented with strong technical judgement.
- Strong organisational and reporting skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Team player with collaborative approach.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and HSSE excellence.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in corrosion and materials engineering within oil and gas or related industries.
- Experience supporting corrosion management and integrity management programmes.
- Experience supporting Corrosion Risk Assessment Studies (CRAS), Integrity Operating Window (IOW) development and asset integrity management programmes.
- Practical knowledge of corrosion monitoring, material selection and degradation mechanisms.
- Experience supporting RBI, FFS and asset life extension studies.
- Familiarity with API, ASME, ISO, DNV and AMPP/NACE standards.
- Ability to prepare engineering reports, assessments and technical recommendations.
- Experience working with operating assets and brownfield facilities.
- Previous experience supporting National Oil Companies (NOCs), major international operators or operating assets within the Middle East preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
