Manage and monitor all printing and production activities throughout the shift to ensure smooth workflow, timely output, and adherence to production plans. B. Supervise Production Staff
Lead machine operators, helpers, and production assistants by assigning tasks, monitoring performance, ensuring discipline, and providing guidance during operational challenges
C. Ensure Quality Standards
Inspect printed materials, verify color accuracy, alignment, finishing quality, and ensure all output meets client specifications and internal quality benchmarks D. Monitor Machine Performance
Check machine settings, printing parameters, and operational conditions; identify abnormalities and coordinate with the maintenance team for timely repairs.
E. Plan and Organize Production Schedules
Prepare daily and weekly production plans, allocate manpower, prioritize urgent jobs, and ensure optimal utilization of machines and resources.
F. Manage Raw Materials and Inventory
Track ink, paper, packaging materials, and consumables; raise timely requests to the warehouse to avoid shortages and production delays.
G. Implement SOPs and Safety Guidelines
Ensure all staff follow standard operating procedures, safety rules, PPE requirements, and printing‑machine handling protocols
H. Maintain Production Documentation Prepare daily production reports, machine downtime logs, material usage records, and submit accurate data to the Production Manager.
I. Train and Develop Staff Conduct on‑the‑job training for new operators, refresh training for existing staff, and ensure everyone is updated on new processes or machine upgrades
J. Drive Continuous Improvement Identify bottlenecks, propose workflow improvements, reduce waste, enhance productivity, and support cost‑saving initiatives.3. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Measures total printed/produced units per shift/day against the planned target to ensure productivity levels are met Tracks the percentage of error‑free, defect‑free printed materials delivered, ensuring adherence to quality standards and client specifications Monitors total downtime hours caused by breakdowns, setup delays, or operational interruptions; lower downtime indicates better planning and supervision. Measures the percentage of jobs completed within the scheduled timeframe, reflecting efficiency in workflow management. Tracks ink, paper, and consumable usage to ensure minimal waste and optimal resource utilization Evaluates operator productivity, adherence to SOPs, attendance, and overall discipline under the supervisor’s leadership Measures adherence to safety protocols, PPE usage, machine‑handling guidelines, and operational SOPsAssesses the accuracy and completeness of daily production reports, downtime logs, and material usage records. Tracks how quickly the supervisor responds to production issues, machine faults, or workflow delays4. Qualifications & Experience
