Job Details

Engineer (Planning, QA/QC Civil & Mechanical, MEP, Civil)


Planning

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, look-ahead plans, and progress trackers.

  • Monitor actual progress against baseline schedules and project milestones.

  • Track manpower, materials, equipment, and resource requirements.

  • Identify delays, critical activities, and potential project risks.

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

  • Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to ensure timely completion.

  • Support recovery plans and schedule updates where required.

QA/QC – Civil & Mechanical

  • Implement project Quality Plans, ITPs, inspection procedures, and checklists.

  • Inspect civil and mechanical works for compliance with approved drawings and specifications.

  • Review method statements, material submittals, inspection requests, and test certificates.

  • Conduct inspections for concrete, reinforcement, structural works, equipment installation, piping, and mechanical works as applicable.

  • Coordinate inspections with clients, consultants, and third-party agencies.

  • Identify non-conforming work and follow up on NCRs and corrective actions.

  • Maintain inspection records, quality reports, test results, and project documentation.

MEP Engineering

  • Coordinate and monitor MEP installation activities.

  • Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and material submittals.

  • Coordinate HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, and associated systems.

  • Monitor MEP works and ensure compliance with approved designs and schedules.

  • Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover.

  • Resolve technical and coordination issues with project teams and subcontractors.

Civil Engineering

  • Supervise civil construction activities including excavation, foundations, concrete, structural works, masonry, waterproofing, roads, drainage, and finishing.

  • Review civil drawings, specifications, BOQs, and method statements.

  • Coordinate with surveyors, subcontractors, consultants, and other disciplines.

  • Monitor workmanship, productivity, materials, and site progress.

  • Ensure civil works comply with approved drawings, quality standards, and project requirements.

Project Coordination & Reporting

  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.

  • Participate in project and technical coordination meetings.

  • Monitor site issues, material requirements, and work fronts.

  • Prepare technical, progress, planning, and quality reports.

  • Support project handover, snag clearance, and closeout activities.

HSE & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with company, project, client, and UAE HSE requirements.

  • Follow approved method statements, risk assessments, and safe working procedures.

  • Participate in site inspections and safety meetings.

  • Report unsafe conditions and support closure of HSE observations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, or related discipline.

    • Relevant certification in Planning, QA/QC, or Project Management will be an advantage.

    Experience

    • Typically 4–8 years of relevant experience in planning, civil/mechanical QA/QC, MEP, or civil engineering.

    • Experience in construction, EPC, infrastructure, industrial, or engineering projects is preferred.

    • UAE/GCC experience is an advantage.

    • Candidates with multidisciplinary project experience will be preferred.
