تلعب الدور دوراً في تقديم رعاية سريرية مهنية وأخلاقية وعالية الجودة، إدارة المخاطر السريرية، الالتزام بمعايير الحوكمة، والحفاظ على سجلات طبية دقيقة. كما يؤكد على التطوير المهني المستمر والحفاظ على النزاهة في تقديم الخدمات السريرية الأخلاقية والمسؤولة.

رعاية النساء أثناء فترات الحمل والتوليد وما بعد الولادة.
مراقبة حالة المريضة وتقدمها وإعادة تقييم العلاجات حسب الضرورة.
إجراء عمليات قيصرية أو غيرها من الإجراءات الجراحية عند الحاجة للحفاظ على صحة المريضة وتوليد الأطفال بأمان.
إجراء مقابلات مع المرضى الجدد لتقييم أعراضهم واحتياجاتهم أو مشكلاتهم؛ وتسجيل واستخدام تاريخهم الطبي من أجل التشخيص
إجراء فحوصات صحة المرأة الشاملة التي تتضمن فحص الحوض وفحص عنق الرحم والصدر
إجراء المتابعات مع المرضى لمراقبة حالتهم وتتبعها
طلب وتحليل الاختبارات والفحوصات اللازمة والاختبارات الكشافة والخزعات والمسح الضوئي وغيرها لتشخيص المشكلة بشكل فعال
توجيه ونصح والإشراف على الكوادر الطبية بما في ذلك الممرضين ومساعدي الأطباء والتقنيين الطبيين بشأن الإجراءات والبروتوكولات الصحيحة
علاج أمراض وإصابات الجهاز التناسلي للمرأة ووصف الرعاية ما بعد الولادة وقبل الولادة
شرح الإجراءات ومناقشة نتائج الاختبارات أو العلاجات المقررة عند اللزوم.
الحفاظ على سجل المريضة بما في ذلك التاريخ الحاضر/الماضي/العائلة قبل التشخيص أو العلاج
توفير رعاية ما قبل الولادة للنساء وأطفالهن قبل الولادة
هم من يصفون الدواء الصحيح والكمادات والمضادات الحيوية التي يجب أن يتناولها المريض.
أطباء النساء والتوليد هم من يضعون الخطط والإجراءات في كل عملية. يعتمد جميع المرضى عليهم لذا يجب أن يخططوا جيداً.
توليد الأطفال وأداء واجبات أخرى متعلقة بالولادة حسب الحاجة، مثل تحفيز المخاض، إجراء الولادات القيصرية، وإجراء جراحة طارئة عند الحاجة
يراقبون الأم والطفل طوال الولادة ويشرفون على إعطاء الأدوية
هم من يقومون بإجراء فحص بابانيكولاو للكشف عن عمليات خبيثة ومحتملة في عنق الرحم لمنع سرطان cervical
يقدمون نصائح غذائية ويجرون فحوصات منتظمة للنساء الحوامل.
يقترحون علاجات بديلة في حال عدم وجود تقدم صحي.
يجري جراحات في حالات اضطرابات تناسلية مزمنة وخطيرة.
كما يقدمون نصائح صحية للأطفال
وصف العلاج وتحديد الكمية وطريقة الاستخدام بخط واضح يتضمن الاسم والتوقيع والتاريخ على الوصفة؛ تنبيه المريضة أو عائلتها، حسب الحالة، إلى أهمية الالتزام بتعليمات العلاج وأي آثار جانبية مهمة ومتوقعة للعلاج الطبي أو الجراحي.
إبلاغ عائلة المريضة بطبيعة ودرجة خطورة مرضها.
مراقبة مضاعفات العلاج الطبي أو الجراحي واتخاذ إجراءات تصحيحية حيثما أمكن.
التعاون مع أطباء آخرين مشاركين في علاج المريضة، توفير معلومات عن حالة المريضة وسير العلاج عند الطلب، واستشارة زميل تخصصي إذا استلزم الأمر.

الوقاية والسيطرة على العدوى (PCI):
سيُتوقع من جميع العاملين الالتزام بمعايير تطبيق نظافة اليدين الأكثر صرامة، وخمس لحظات لغسل اليدين، وعدم تعرّض المرفقين للمساس، ورعاية البيئة المحيطة، في جميع الأوقات
المؤهلات:
خبرة لا تقل عن 3 - 5 سنوات بعد التخرج في المستوى التخصصي بشكل مستقل عن البلد
خبرة لا تقل عن سنة واحدة في المستوى التخصصي من دولة من Tier 1 كما حددها منظم الرعاية الصحية في الإمارات.
درجة طبية أساسية وإكمال برنامج تخصص/تعليم عالي (زمالة/دبلوم) معترف به من قبل الجهة الصحية الإماراتية ذات الصلة.
شهادة وتسجيل في تخصص معترف به من قبل جهة الرعاية الصحية الإماراتية ذات الصلة. شهادة دعم حياة نشطة وصالحة (مثلاً BLS، ACLS، PALS، ATLS، NRP)
- الأهلية للحصول على تسجيل من جهة الرعاية الصحية المعنية مثل عضوية من Royal College / Arab Board Certification / MS / DM / MPhil أو ما يعادلها المعترف بها من قبل جهة الرعاية الصحية ذات الصلة في الإمارات العربية المتحدة
Job description
The role involves delivering professional, ethical, and high-quality clinical care, managing clinical risks, ensuring compliance with governance standards, and maintaining accurate medical records. It also emphasizes continuous professional development and maintaining integrity in providing ethical, responsible clinical services.
Responsibilities:
Specific Responsibilities for this Role
Care for women during prenatal, natal and post-natal periods.
Monitor patient’s condition and progress and re-evaluate treatments as necessary.
Perform Cesarean sections or other surgical procedures as needed to preserve patients’ health & deliver babies safely.
Interview new patients to assess their symptoms, needs, or problems; record and utilize their medical history for diagnosis
Perform well-women exams that include pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams
Conduct follow-ups with patients to monitor and track their condition
Order and analyse necessary tests, screenings, biopsies, scans, etc. to effectively diagnose a problem
Direct, advise, and supervise medical staff including nurses, physician assistants, med techs etc. on proper procedures and protocol
Treat diseases and injuries of a woman’s reproductive organ and prescribe postnatal and prenatal care
Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments as necessary.
Maintain record of the patient including present/past/family history prior to diagnosing or treating the case.
provide prenatal care for women and their babies before birth
They are the ones who prescribe the right drug, compresses and antibiotics that should be taken by the patient.
Obstetrician and Gynaecologist are the ones who make the plans and procedures in every operation. All patients depend on them so they should plan well.
Deliver babies and perform other birth-related duties as needed, such as inducing Labor, performing Caesarean section births and performing emergency surgery when needed
monitors the mother and the baby throughout childbirth, and oversees the administration of medications
They are the ones who give the conduct Papanicolaou screening to detect malignant and premalignant process in the ectocervix to prevent cervical cancer.
Provide Dietary tips and conducts regular examinations for pregnant women.
Suggest alternative treatments in case there is no health progress.
Perform Surgeries in case of chronic and serious reproductive disorders.
Also provide health care tips for the babies
Prescribe treatment and determine the quantity and usage in legible writing including the name, signature and date on the prescription; alert the patient or his family, as the case may be, to the importance of adhering to treatment instructions and to any significant and expected side-effects of the medical or surgical treatment.
Inform the patient’s family of the nature and degree of seriousness of his/her illness.
Monitor complications of medical or surgical treatment and initiate remedial action where possible.
Co-operate with other physicians involved in the patient’s treatment, provide information on patient’s medicalcondition and the course of treatment whenever requested to do so, and consult with a specialist colleague if the case so requires.

Comply with reasonable OSH instructions, policies and safe working procedures
Use of appropriate personal protective equipment and safety systems.
Be familiar with emergency and evacuation procedures
Not willfully or recklessly endanger anyone’s health and safety
Assist with the preparation of risk assessments

Reduce, Reuse, Recycling of waste as much as possible
Attend all OSH Trainings, awareness programs and mock drills.
Participates in the OSHMS audits, inspections, ensuring standards are maintained
Prevention and Control of Infection (PCI):
PCI is everyone’s responsibility. All staff are required to read and implement the NMC PCI Policy and Strategy in an effort to maintain the highest possible standards of cleanliness at all times, thus reducing the risk of infection in patients, staff and visitors.
The strictest hand hygiene, 5 moments of hand hygiene, bare below the elbows and environmental care, will be expected of all staff, including the post holder, at all times
Qualifications:
