Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates for an Architect proficient in Auto CAD with local experience and a valid driving license. The role involves preparing detailed architectural drawings and shop drawings for aluminium and glass works, including façades, windows, doors, and curtain wall systems. The architect will coordinate with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure designs meet technical specifications, safety standards, and local regulations. Daily tasks include revising drawings based on feedback, conducting site visits and measurements, and supporting the integration of design changes throughout the project lifecycle. The role also requires collaboration with fabrication and installation teams to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to produce accurate plans, elevations, and details. Experience with Software Development and Integration as they relate to CAD tools and project workflows is beneficial, though not mandatory. Proficiency in Project Management for coordinating timelines, documentation, and communication with stakeholders. Advanced proficiency in Auto CAD; experience with other design software (e.g., Revit, Sketch Up) is an advantage. Relevant degree or diploma in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or a related field. Proven work experience in the United Arab Emirates, with familiarity with local building codes and industry standards. Valid UAE driving license and ability to travel to project sites as required. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
