The E-House Operations Manager will have overall end-to-end responsibility for the successful execution and delivery of E-House / Electrical Buildings / Modular Electrical & Utility Buildings, from initial design and engineering through procurement, fabrication, pre-fabrication, assembly, testing, delivery, site installation, commissioning and final handover.
The role will oversee the complete E-House value chain involving civil/structural, electrical, Mechanical, instrumentation, ELV, control and automation disciplines, ensuring that all activities are executed safely, within approved budget, schedule, quality requirements and contractual specifications.
The position will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary engineering and execution teams and ensuring seamless integration of systems such as transformers, MV/LV switchgear, distribution boards, MCCs, VFDs/VFTs, SCADA, PLC/DCS, UPS, battery systems, HVAC, fire & gas, ELV, cable management and other associated systems.
Key Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for end-to-end E-House project execution, from design engineering, procurement and fabrication through testing, delivery, installation, commissioning and final handover.
Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and execution covering electrical, mechanical, structural, instrumentation, ELV, control and automation requirements.
Oversee integration and installation of transformers, MV/LV switchgear, MCCs, DBs, VFD/VFT, UPS, battery systems, PLC/SCADA and associated electrical/control systems.
Manage fabrication, pre-fabrication, assembly and modular integration of E-Houses, electrical rooms, battery houses and related skids/packages.
Ensure effective planning and execution of FAT, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning and site installation, ensuring all systems are fully integrated and operational.
Manage project schedule, cost, manpower, procurement, vendors, quality, HSE and logistics to achieve timely and profitable delivery.
Act as the key operational interface with clients, consultants, suppliers and internal departments, ensuring timely resolution of technical and execution issues.
Drive standardization, productivity improvement, value engineering and continuous improvement to enhance E-House delivery capability, quality and profitability.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Electronics / Instrumentation Engineering or related discipline.
EXPERIENCE
15–20+ years of relevant experience, preferably with significant experience in E-House, modular electrical buildings, electrical substations, EPC, switchgear, power distribution, industrial projects or related engineering/fabrication environments.
Minimum 5–8 years in a senior management / operations leadership position.
