Planning Coordinator
Reports to: Planning Manager
Job Purpose:
Planning Coordinator is to coordinate the daily planning for purchase order of local items to ensure smooth operation in warehouse, production, franchise, café and retail in accordance of lead time of availability from suppliers.
Key Accountabilities:
Replenishment
- Prepare daily planning of items required for local purchase to maintain stock levels to meet demands while restricting stock overflow in the warehouse
- Update and maintain parameter of stock keeping units in ERP for new or phased out item code for optimized data consolidation in planning and purchasing process
- Assessing forecast of finished goods given by line manager and planning of orders to mitigate impact to stocks of materials prior to production date
- Follow up with Purchasing Team for items on critical level with pending supplier delivery or with Open/ under approval POs
- Coordinating with purchasing team in evaluating stocks volume requested by other department or excess quantity delivered by the suppliers to maintain balanced stock levels
- Proactively monitor and adapts the stock level of items based on seasonal variation in consumption for efficient operation in the warehouse.
Experience requirement:
- Minimum 3 years’ planning experience in FMCG industry (especially F&B).
- Advance user of Navision (ERP).
- Advance user of excel with proficiency in formulas like Vlookups, Sumifs, Pivot table (advance user), Graphs etc.
- Excellent Mathematics skills; numerical proficiency.
- Ability to work within given schedules / timelines.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English.
- Advance user of Power Point (Presentations).
- Strong Analytical skills and report making.
