- Repair or replace faulty components in vehicles, such as engines, transmissions, and electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all services and repairs performed on vehicles.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest automotive technology and advancements through ongoing training and professional development.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain diagnoses and recommended repairs.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving any issues.

Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an automotive technology program or apprenticeship.
- Certification from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an auto mechanic.
- Experience working with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components.
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects.
