As a Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Interface Documents (IDOC) monitoring activities associated with inventory receipts and outbound shipment confirmations between the warehouse management system utilized by the Local Operating Company (LOC) and the SAP software system within GSK.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:


  • Monitor and resolve all failed interface documents (IDOCs) for each Commercial Enterprise Resource Planning system (CERPS) core warehouse and distribution interface that could ultimately impact the operations ability to receive finished goods inventory and transmit shipment confirmations for downstream trading partners.
  • Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) reporting on IDOC failures and stock reconciliation.
  • Develop Service Level Agreement (SLA) with channel operations on managing failures related to outbound customer shipments.
  • Actively monitor adherence to the new CERPS ways of working and taking corrective action where required.
  • Assess and support system data inquiries and project initiatives.
  • Evaluate and assess changes to warehouse & distribution as modifications are made to the SAP template.
  • Oversight/Ownership of replenishment orders between market distribution centers and the respective balancing of inventory.
  • Review and maintain all inventory reconciliation reports assigned by providing reconciliation details, escalating both system and process issues for resolution and making inventory adjustments when required.
  • Assist in all aspects of Logistics which will include providing support for Distribution and Logistics related to customer order issues and accrual reporting.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:


  • Associate degree
  • 6-7 years of experience in distribution operations and supply chain management
  • Experience with performance monitoring in a Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) environment
  • 1+ years SAP software experience


Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Ability to quickly diagnose, track and analyze system issues
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
