Job Purpose
Lead and manage Trade and Working Capital and Merchant overdraft business constituting a team of RMs and ARMs. Actively work with Unit Manager and support the RMs in meeting their pre-set financial and non-financial objectives.
Key Result Areas
- Acquire and build a portfolio of relationship clients through Trade, working capital, Term loan and Merchant overdraft, Loans and other Front end revenue products within the defined target market of Business Banking
- Drive the team on enhancing relationship revenue from new and existing portfolio of borrowing and non-borrowing accounts by cross-selling and up-selling products.
- Manage existing Trade and Working Capital, MOD relationships.
- Responsible for the assigned assets, revenue and liabilities targets.
- Ensuring that the Risk reward equation is maintained by charging optimum pricing as per the segment.
- Responsible for quality and soundness of existing TWC/MOD/SBL portfolio (Monitoring all assets products maturities, KYC reviews, monitoring for due diligence, anti-money laundering procedures etc.)
- Identify and segments target market and develop new business to broad base the portfolio and pursue growth opportunities.
- Actively provide deal support to the RMs in structuring and product suitability
- Assume complete ownership of customer relationship management for the assigned portfolio of accounts. Provide superior customer service.
- Liaise with superiors and direct reports within the business unit, Risk Management and related enabler units within the bank to achieve business objectives.
- Adhere to all compliance & regulatory policies with regards to KYC/AML etc as set out by the bank from time to time.
Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Complete knowledge and clear understanding of the Bank's credit policy, operating systems and focus on the Small Business Segment.
- Banking Sales & service experience with proven Team Leader qualities
- Requires advanced vocational know-how of the subject matter (viz. Credit, Trade, Operating System, Legal, etc…)
- Excellent communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
- Minimum 10 years + relevant banking experience in local or international market.
- MBA/CA or if a regular graduate needs to possess adequate relevant experience.
