A Pilot Instructor is a role model position at Etihad Airways and is responsible for the training and development of pilots’ core competencies (Knowledge, Skills and Attitude) and resilience.
He/She is authorised to conduct training duties in line with the GCAA CAR-FCL and CAR-AIR OPS regulations, as well as the policies and procedures described in the Etihad Airways Operations Manual Part D.
Job description includes (and is not limited to):
- Display instructor competencies and uphold standards
- Provide good quality training to pilots at Etihad Airways
- Provide a positive role model to all other personnel
- Provide training system and course feedback
- Develop the potential and skills of the pilots
Desired qualifications and experience:
- 3 years as Instructor/Examiner
- 1000 hours of FSTD training
- 1000 hours of LIFUS/IOE experience
- Good technical knowledge
- Previous experience with MPL Training, Evidence-based Training (EBT) and/or AQP/ATQP are an advantage
