Stock Clerk

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Stock Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, organizing stock in the warehouse, and assisting with inventory control. The successful candidate will be a team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and unload incoming stock and ensure all items are properly labeled and stored
  • Inspect and verify the accuracy of incoming deliveries and report any discrepancies
  • Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas
  • Conduct regular stock audits to identify any inventory shortages or errors
  • Restock shelves and displays as needed to ensure products are readily available for customers
  • Assist with inventory control by monitoring stock levels and forecasting future needs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stock levels are aligned with sales goals

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or warehouse setting
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and track inventory
  • Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of inventory management software
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, up to 50 pounds
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment
