Plant Admin Manager

Position: Plant Admin Manager

Overview: The Plant Administration Manager is responsible for managing the administrative functions of the Assets and plants, including overseeing office operations, handling documentation, coordinating with departments, and ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations. The role also involves supporting the Plant Operations Manager in achieving the overall goals of the plant.

Key responsibilities

  1. Assist in the preparation of the plant and equipment budget against the project requirements
  2. Equipment registration, insurance , permits and update of equipment master
  3. Monitor and control the equipment allocation and leasing plans
  4. Ensure legal and statutory compliance against maintenance requirements of plant and asset
  5. Develop procedure for equipment maintenance and services in consultation with ops manager
  6. Undertake timely preventive and breakdown maintenance works and file the reports
  7. Report abnormal plant and equipment conditions and take actions in coordination with admin
  8. Collect records of plant and equipment downtime, idle time and operational hours
  9. Develop comprehensive checklist for equipment inspections and validation
  10. Coordinate with procurement on equipment buying and allocation of cost in the system
  11. Manage assets allocation through ERP and invoice submission
  12. Ensure health and safety compliance on requirements through update of records related to health and safety and training to staff
  13. Take responsibility for the administration of the company’s plants and assets records to ensure compliance with third party certification
  14. Record keeping of equipment erection, commissioning and demobilization
  15. To record damage and losses of the company’s plant machinery and vehicles.
  16. To reconcile equipment tracker for identification of new assets requirements
  17. Maintain contact with other departments like project, maintenance, procurement and finance for immediate resolution of complaints and concerns related to equipment downtime
  18. Monitor monthly expenses related to plant and equipment and develop action plan
  19. Develop strategy for equipment downtime through cost saving initiatives
  20. Conduct review meeting with service department for periodical maintenance of equipment and plant
  21. Recording the assets, Monitoring and deploying assets in various sites. Monitoring movement of assets, Invoicing to site assets rental based on utilization.
  22. Record keeping of contractor’s plant and equipment policy and Motor policy updating records as newly purchased or Scraped.

Qualification and Experience: Mechanical Engineering degree/ MBA or diploma with 10-15 years in equipment and plant administration , construction and plant infrastructure related fields
