HSE Engineer (Bus Planning and Performance)

Job Specific Accountabilities\n \n•\tDevelop corporate HSE planning processes, including 5-yr Business Plan, Annual Operating Plan and HSE Master Plan.\n•\tSupport HSE team in achieving the Corporate HSE objectives by proper time management, prioritization considering the importance, allocation of adequate resources and development of an efficient and achievable schedule.\n•\tTrack and update HSE Plans periodically to ensure the effective implementation of ADNOC LNG HSE Objectives plan using appropriate tools, follows-up on completion targets and alert deviations from the plan and recommend remedial actions.\n•\tPrepare HSE departmental annual budget requirements with necessary justifications in accordance with the Business Plan / Budget guidelines.\n•\tEstablish, monitor, and update HSE performance indicators and standards for Company activities in line with ADNOC CoPs, corporate procedures, utilizing international standards and industry best practice.\n•\tDevelop a robust HSE performance reporting system and mechanisms for reporting on corporate HSE performance (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually) and confirm the ensuring validation of data quality.\n•\tSystematically and periodically monitor, review, analyze and report on HSE performance status against HSE objectives, HSE plan and KPI status and identify areas of concern and improvement.\n•\tProvide project/ program management support for implementation of key Corporate HSE initiatives such as HSE campaigns and awareness programs, HSE Improvement Reviews, ADNOC Excellence Awards.\n•\tPrepare the HSE handouts and presentations for the Shareholders/ Management Corporate Meetings on HSE Performance, HSE Initiatives and HSE Findings/ Actions\n•\tProvide input for the development of HSE information material through: booklets, handouts, HSE awareness articles and papers to be published internally and externally.\n\nGeneric Accountabilities\n\nSupervision\n \n•\tPlan, supervise and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.\n•\tTrain and develop the assigned staff on relevant skills to enable them to become proficient on the job and deliver the respective section objectives.\n \nBudgets\n \n•\tProvide input for preparation of the Unit / Department / Section budgets, assist in the implementation of the approved Budget, and work plans to deliver Section objectives.\n•\tInvestigate and highlight any significant variances to support effective performance and cost control.\n \nPolicies, Systems, Processes & Procedures\n \n•\tImplement approved Unit/ Department/ Section policies, processes, systems, standards and procedures in order to support execution of the work programs in line with Company and International standards.\n \nPerformance Management\n \n•\tContribute to the achievement of the approved Performance Objectives for the Unit/ Department/ Section in line with the Company Performance framework.\n \nInnovation and Continuous Improvement\n \n•\tDesign and implement new tools and techniques to improve the quality and efficiency of operational processes.\n•\tIdentify improvements in internal processes against best practices in pursuit of greater efficiency in line with best industry standards in order to define intelligent solutions for issues confronting the function.\n \nHealth, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability\n \n•\tComply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.\n
