A leading Commercial Laundry in Dubai, is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team. As the Operations Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing laundry operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily operations of the laundry facility, including receiving, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and packaging of laundry items.
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of the facility to comply with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Manage a team of laundry staff and ensure they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement operational procedures and protocols to maximize efficiency, minimize errors, and streamline workflow.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Service and Sales, to address customer inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies and equipment, and coordinate with the Procurement team to ensure timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular quality control inspections to ensure that laundry items meet the company's quality standards before delivery.
- Implement and enforce health and safety guidelines to protect employees and maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a commercial laundry or similar operational environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address operational challenges and make sound judgments.
- Solid understanding of laundry operations, including equipment, processes, and best practices.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in using computer software and systems for tracking and reporting purposes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
