Job Type: Summer Arabic Teacher Part-Time (20 hours/week), also to continue during school year.

Location: In-person and remote

Objective: The candidate will be responsible for teaching an 8-year-old proficient Arabic learner towards fluency, using a rigorous Arabic curriculum.

Responsibilities:

1. Delivering a comprehensive Arabic curriculum that is age-appropriate, engaging, and challenging for an 8-year-old student.
2. Conducting lessons plans to be remote July 16-August 16th and in-person after August 16th.
3. Preparing lesson plans and materials ahead of time to facilitate student-centered learning and growth.
4. Conducting regular assessments to monitor the child's progress and adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
5. Incorporating creative teaching methods and interactive activities to make learning fun and engaging.
6. Working closely with parents to keep them informed of the child's progress and any potential issues.
7. Encouraging and fostering a safe and positive learning environment that promotes curiosity and enthusiasm towards the Arabic language.
Qualifications:

Female applicants only
Bachelor's degree in education, Arabic Language, or related fields.
Fluency in Classic Arabic is mandatory.
Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching Arabic to children of similar ages.
Familiarity with teaching and pedagogical methods appropriate for teaching language to children.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to young children.
Flexibility and adaptability to work with a personalized teaching plan.
