The Project Engineer – Mechanical is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing all mechanical works on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority requirements, and safety standards. Responsibilities: Responsible for completion of Mechanical works within specified time & budget. Good experience of Engineering, installation & Testing commissioning of Mechanical services viz. Fire Fighting, Water Supply, AC, Drainage etc. for substations. Dealing with main contractor & consultant. Responsible for Engineering, Execution & Testing Commissioning of Mechanical services. Close Coordination with Electrical & Civil team for substation construction. Supporting procurement department by raising proper purchase requests along with detailed bill of quantity, specifications, approvals etc. Ensure proper implementation of company’s HSE, QA/QC & HR policies at sites. Ensuring approvals of shop drawings, material submittals prior to installations. Raise timely variation claims and ensure their approvals prior to execution works. Follow-up with different suppliers for timely material / equipment deliveries and ensure to receive correct material / equipment as per purchase order & specifications. To test & commission complete AC, Plumbing, FF systems perfectly and ensure timely hand over to the client along with complete documentation.Qualifications & Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.10– 15 years' experience in mechanical engineering within building construction / MEP contracting. Strong knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Fighting systems. Experience in UAE projects and authority regulations required. Proficient in Auto CAD, MS Office; Revit knowledge is an advantage.
