The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who will proactively improve the quality systems of the company through internal audits, participation in process improvement programs, and interaction with key partners to obtain constructive feedback.Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001. Establish QA/QC policies, procedures, KPI, SOP & benchmarking, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and quality objectives specific to MEP activities Prepare and update Project Quality Plans, drawings, method statements for electrical & mechanical works applicable codes are thoroughly reviewed and incorporated into the quality documentation. Conduct inspections, Monitor testing & commissioning activities for electrical systems (Cables & wires, LV & MV panels, generators, UPS, ELV systems, lighting protection, fire alarm, firefighting, BMS, Switchgears) as per approved ITP (Inspection & Test Plan) Ensure all electrical works comply with project quality standards, codes (IEC, NEC, BS, DEWA/ADDC, etc.), and safety regulations. Witness factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and cable termination checks. Coordinate with consultants/clients for material approvals, inspections, and testing. Prepare and maintain QC reports, inspection requests (IR), and non-conformance reports (NCR). Conducting Quality audits and inspections on a regular basis to ensure that safe working practices are in operation and supports the external audit for the company’s ISO (45001, 9001 & 14001) Supervising the overall Quality performances. Collecting and reviewing. Provide regular Quality performance reports and monthly statistics to continually improve Quality performance Reviewing/Prepare Quality Plans, Risk Assessments, reports and other relevant documentation Asses the subcontractor/supplier QA/QC arrangements for compliance with contract requirements. Participate in the project meetings with contractor/consultant representative to report quality status of the project and to address important Quality issues.QualificationsBachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with minimum 10+ years of experience in MEP & Firefighting. Certified Lead Auditor in ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) and familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001. Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE), Certified Quality Auditor (CQA), ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor Certification, Six Sigma, CS WIP 3.1 Welding inspector, AWS SCWI, ASNT NDT Level III certification. Strong knowledge of MEP materials and standards (e.g., ACI, BS, ASTM, ASME, API, ISO) High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) QA/QC software tools, Auto CAD skills are an advantage Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination with project stakeholders Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in resolving quality-related issues UAE or GCC experience is highly preferred, with Valid UAE driving license Proven experience in coordinating with consultants, clients, and third-party testing agencies Familiarity with local regulatory requirements including Abu Dhabi & Dubai Municipality, DDA, Trakhees, and other authorities
