Our multinational team prioritizes stringent project management, quality assurance, and timely delivery to serve prestigious brands in the market.Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Joinery Estimator at Alpha Nero located in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost control, BOQ, cost management, cost planning, and cost reporting related to retail design and production projects.Key Responsibilities Estimation of large prestigious high-end interior fit-out projects. Preparation of bills of quantities (BOQ). Adjudication of contractor’s claims (measurement). Estimating and cost control. Managing the full tender process. Interpreting specifications, price tenders, and preparing contract documents. Interpreting and checking drawings, tender documents, quantities, and estimates. Supervising surveys and interpreting third-party surveys. Verifying sub-contractor’s claims and verification of Quantity Surveyor’s calculations, progress of work at the site, and material on-site / off-site. Develops bid cost estimates for the specified deadlines for submission. Reviews and comments on technical and commercial specifications. Prepares material takeoffs to allow Purchasing Dept to obtain market pricingQualifications and Skills Required Cost Control, Cost Management, and Cost Planning skills BOQ and Cost Reporting skills Prior expertise in Joinery Estimation preferred Able to read and interpret Auto CAD drawings Experience in quantity surveying within the retail sector Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field Professional certification in Quantity Surveying is a plusWhat We OfferWe offer a stimulating and dynamic work environment where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact.Working on innovative and challenging projects.
