You will collaborate closely with our product and frontend teams to deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance backend services.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Laravel and PHPBuild and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications Implement and manage cron jobs for scheduled tasks (report generation, notifications, cleanup) Work with Laravel queues (Redis, database queues) to handle background jobs and optimize performance Design and optimize MySQL databases (schemas, queries, indexes, migrations) Containerize applications using Docker for development and deployment Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS EC2 and manage file storage via AWS S3Collaborate with frontend developers integrating APIs with HTML, Bootstrap, Java Script, and j Query Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize backend performance Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processesQualifications:3+ years of experience in backend development (or equivalent) Strong proficiency in PHP and Laravel framework Experience building and consuming RESTful APIsHands-on experience with cron jobs and task scheduling in Laravel Experience with queueing systems in Laravel (jobs, workers, queue drivers) Solid understanding of MySQL (joins, indexes, query optimization, migrations) Practical experience with Docker for development/deployment Experience with AWS EC2 and S3Understanding of HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), Java Script, and j Query for backend-frontend integration Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews)At Sii RA, we cherish diversity, equity, and inclusiveness.
