Position : SAP Project Manager Experience : 10–18 years Expertise : SAP S/4HANA Implementation, Rollout & SupportRole Summary The SAP Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering SAP implementation or transformation projects (preferably S/4HANA) within scope, timeline, and budget. This role involves stakeholder management, team leadership, risk mitigation, vendor coordination, and ensuring adherence to SAP Activate or equivalent project methodologies.Key Responsibilities Project Leadership & Delivery Lead end-to-end SAP projects including blueprinting, realization, testing, deployment, and hyper care. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with required quality standards. Prepare and maintain project plans, schedules, RAID logs, and status reports. Manage project governance, steering committees, sign-offs, and documentation. Stakeholder & Team Management Coordinate with business stakeholders, IT leadership, functional consultants, developers, and integration teams. Facilitate workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and solution design reviews. Manage internal and external resources (partners, vendors, contractors). Risk, Issue & Change Management Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies. Manage scope, change requests, and project dependencies. Ensure compliance with organization’s PMO processes and best practices. SAP Expertise Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules (FI, MM, SD, PP, EWM, HR, etc.). Ability to understand cross-functional integration, data migration, interfaces, custom developments, and testing cycles. Experience in SAP Activate methodology or ASAP. Governance & Reporting Provide weekly project status updates to CIO/IT Director/Steering Committee. Track project KPIs, deliverables, and team performance. Ensure proper documentation: BRD, FSD, SDD, test scripts, cutover plans, and SOPs.Required Skills & Experience10+ years of SAP experience, including at least 4–6 years in Project/Program Management. Led minimum 2 full-cycle SAP implementations (preferably S/4HANA). Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (PMP/Prince2 certification preferred). Excellent stakeholder communication, conflict resolution, and presentation skills. Hands-on experience with project tools (JIRA, MS Project, Azure Dev Ops, or similar). Proven ability to manage multi-module, multi-vendor SAP landscapes.Preferred Qualifications SAP S/4HANA certification or understanding of RISE with SAP implementations. Experience in manufacturing, construction, real estate, or logistics industries. Understanding of cloud hosting, integration platforms, and Industry 4.0 technologies.
