Persian Horizon is seeking a hands-on IT Operations (IT Ops) Manager to manage and optimize our infrastructure, system access, integrations, and internal automations. This role is all about stability, security, and efficiency—ensuring systems are reliable, connected, and automated to reduce manual work. You will act as the technical backbone supporting product, growth, finance, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Servers Manage and monitor cloud or on-prem infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar) Ensure uptime, backups, security, and performance Handle deployments, environment setup, and incident response Manage domains, hosting, SSL certificates, and system reliability APIs & Integrations Maintain API integrations across internal systems (CRM, finance, marketing, data tools) Troubleshoot API failures, sync issues, and data mismatches Collaborate with developers, vendors, and no-code tools to connect systems Document all integrations and workflows clearly Access & Security Control user access across systems (CRM, email, cloud, finance, analytics, internal tools) Implement role-based access and onboarding/offboarding processes Enforce cybersecurity best practices, including permissions, MFA, and logging Automations & Internal Tools Build and maintain automations using tools like Zapier, Make, n8n, scripts, or internal APIsReduce manual work across operations, finance, HR, and growth teams Maintain automation logic, error handling, and documentation Improve internal workflows using no-code and low-code solutions Monitoring & Documentation Monitor system health, performance, and error logs Maintain clear technical documentation and SOPsServe as the go-to person for system reliability, troubleshooting, and fixes Requirements3+ years of experience in IT Operations, Systems, or Infrastructure Strong understanding of APIs, webhooks, authentication methods, and data flows Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, or similar) Familiarity with basic Dev Ops practices, deployments, and environment management Practical experience building and maintaining automations using tools like Zapier, Make, n8n, or scripts Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Comfortable working with non-technical teams and supporting cross-functional workflows Nice to Have Experience with CRMs, finance systems, and analytics tools Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, or Java Script) Experience in startups, scale-ups, or multi-entity organizations Familiarity with data privacy, security, and compliance fundamentals Benefits Competitive salary and performance-based incentives Full-time role based in Dubai with a dynamic work environment Ownership of critical IT infrastructure and internal automations Exposure to cross-functional teams: product, growth, finance, and operations Opportunity to work with modern cloud platforms, APIs, and no-code/low-code tools Professional growth in a fast-moving, scale-up environment Collaborative culture focused on efficiency, innovation, and system reliability
