About The Opportunity

We are recruiting an on-site IT Support Engineer to join a management consultancy operating in the UAE. You will be the first point of contact for end-user issues, responsible for maintaining desktop, laptop, and perimeter infrastructure while ensuring fast ticket resolution and high user satisfaction across multiple office locations.

Role & Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day on-site IT support for desktops, laptops, printers, VOIP devices, and peripherals—diagnose, repair, and escalate as required. Manage user accounts and access in Active Directory and Azure AD; provision hardware and software for new hires and role changes. Resolve incidents and service requests via the ITSM platform (triage, document, and close tickets), adhering to SLAs and escalation procedures. Perform basic network troubleshooting (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN) and coordinate with network engineers for more complex issues. Maintain endpoint management and security: patching, antivirus, encryption, and configuration enforcement using enterprise tools. Create and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and knowledge base.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent technical qualification. Proven hands-on experience supporting Windows desktops and laptops in an enterprise environment. Working knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration. Familiarity with ITSM/ticketing platforms (e.g., Service Now, Jira Service Desk) and SLA-driven support. Basic networking knowledge: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN and Wi-Fi troubleshooting. Power Shell or similar scripting for automation and repetitive task reduction.

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Intune or SCCM for endpoint management. Exposure to virtualization platforms (VMware) and cloud identities (Azure AD). ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent IT service management training.
