Job Purpose We are looking for a dynamic Retail Trainer to support the learning and performance development of store teams for a footwear (shoe) brand. The role focuses on enhancing product knowledge, selling skills, customer experience, and operational excellence across stores.
Key Responsibilities Deliver product, sales, and customer service training to store staff and store managers Conduct onboarding training for new hires and refresher sessions for existing teams Train staff on footwear product features, fitting techniques, materials, and care Coach sales associates on customer engagement, upselling, and conversion techniques Support store managers in identifying training needs and performance gaps Conduct store visits to observe staff performance and provide on-the-job coaching Ensure training materials are aligned with brand standards and business objectives Track training effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics Support seasonal launches, promotions, and new product rollouts with focused training Coordinate with operations and HR teams to support people development initiatives
Required Qualifications & Experience3–4 years of experience as a Retail Trainer / Sales Trainer, preferably in footwear, fashion, or retail brands Strong understanding of retail sales processes and customer service standards Experience in classroom training, floor coaching, and on-the-job facilitation Fluent in Arabic and English (spoken and written) Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills Ability to travel between stores as required Basic proficiency in MS Office (Power Point, Excel, Word)
Preferred Skills Experience in shoe or fashion retail brands Knowledge of adult learning principles and coaching techniques Ability to influence and motivate frontline retail staff Strong observation, feedback, and problem-solving skills
