Main Job Purpose To develop and lead the Oncology Business Unit, overseeing both sales and marketing functions to achieve revenue, profitability, and market share objectives — while ensuring full compliance with regulatory and ethical standards. Key Accountabilities Drive business unit growth by collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve oncology sales, profitability, and strategic objectives. Lead, coach, and evaluate the performance of oncology sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment with business goals. Recruit, develop, and retain high-caliber oncology professionals to build a strong, sustainable team. Design and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies, including innovative distribution models to maximize portfolio potential. Partner with Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Market Access teams to ensure seamless product launches and lifecycle management. Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs, healthcare authorities, and principal partners to enhance market access and brand credibility. Oversee the planning and execution of promotional campaigns, scientific events, and medical education programs tailored to oncology. Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and oncology pipeline developments to maintain a competitive edge. Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and compliance frameworks, conducting periodic reviews as required. Expand market presence by identifying new opportunities, developing key accounts, and driving customer retention initiatives. Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure alignment with brand and portfolio strategy. Support commercial execution through product listings, formulary inclusion, tenders, and partnership agreements. Represent the organization with health authorities and committees to secure product inclusion and respond to oncology-related tenders. Optimize resource allocation across geographies, centers, and priority accounts to maximize efficiency and business impact. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or related field (MBA preferred). Minimum 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, including at least 5 years in Oncology leadership roles. Proven success in business unit management, strategy execution, and cross-functional leadership. Strong understanding of UAE / GCC oncology market dynamics and regulatory framework. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
