We are seeking an experienced Operations Trainer to design, oversee, and deliver comprehensive training programs across various logistics operations and departments within our UAE locations. This role is critical in ensuring consistent operational standards, driving process excellence, and enhancing employee performance across all operational functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and operations training, strong attention to detail, and the flexibility to travel frequently within the UAE. Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement training programs focused on operational efficiency, customer service, safety, and company SOPs for Last Mile employees. Collaborate with Operations managers and HR to identify training needs and address performance gaps, tailoring programs to meet evolving operational demands. Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, observations, and feedback collection, continuously improving training methodologies. Prepare and maintain comprehensive training materials, manuals, and guides to support consistent and standardized training delivery across locations. Provide one-on-one coaching and mentoring as needed to help employees reach performance targets and align with company values. Maintain accurate records of all training activities, assessments, and feedback to measure training impact and identify future training requirements. Develop metrics to evaluate training success and report on improvements in employee productivity, operational accuracy, and customer service standards. Foster a culture of continuous improvement and learning by introducing new training techniques and technologies as appropriate. Track performance including learning curve and quality and implement appropriate performance improvement initiatives to support improved performance Create training documents (PPT) and utilize various software such as Articulate 360, Photoshop, video editing to design effective training content Execute plans to close gaps in the developmental needs for individuals and groups Create internal dashboards (Power BI, SQL etc) and use them to report training progress and KPIs in daily, weekly Monthly leadership calls. Monitor adherence to all established training programs to ensure standard work is achieved and implement new tactical and strategic projects Partnering with operations leaders by using Fresh Desk to evaluate and improve training processes within work areas and CX & DXManaging training compliance (Power BI) to ensure accurate training records are housed correctly and directly coaching drivers and helpers to improve job performance Travel regularly (Bi-Weekly) to other HUB locations within the UAE to conduct training sessions and audits, ensuring adherence to operational standards and best practices to develop straightforward training solutions across multiple modalities (remote, in-person, digital) Provide data-driven recommendations for content improvements Manage training resources and establish methodologies for frugality Review and analyze SF2 Ratings and GMB data, partnering with SMEs to support continuous improvement in driving training programs. Coach drivers on hazard perception, situational awareness, and proactive decision-making to reduce incidents. Collaborate with operations and safety teams to continuously enhance defensive driving programs. Develop and deliver practical defensive driving modules aligned with company safety standards and regulatory requirements. Skills and Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business/ HR or a related field (preferred).3+ years of experience in operations training, preferably within the retail, logistics, or dark store sectors. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with adult learning principles and ability to tailor training methods to diverse learning styles. Willingness to travel frequently to various store locations across the UAE to ensure training consistency. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt training programs to meet specific store needs. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point); experience with learning management systems (LMS) is a plus. Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
