Job Description: Project Planning and Execution:Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for ELV projects, considering client requirements and project specifications. Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Oversee the execution of ELV projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budget constraints. Team Leadership and Management:Lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors, providing direction, support, and guidance throughout the project lifecycle. Delegate tasks to the project resource teams that report to them. Conduct regular meetings and reviews to monitor project progress, resolve issues, and mitigate risks. Mentoring of new project resources during the onboarding process, and other essential project training needs. Client Relationship Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to facilitate collaboration and ensure customer satisfaction. Quality Assurance and Compliance:Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to ensure that ELV systems meet industry standards and client requirements. Conduct regular inspections and tests to verify system functionality and performance. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards in all project activities. Budget and Cost Management:Monitor project expenses and resource allocation to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints. Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements to maximize project profitability. Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for project stakeholders. Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project success, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans as needed. Proactively address project challenges and obstacles to minimize disruptions and delays. Document lessons learned and best practices for future reference and improvement.
Key Requirements:2 to 5 years proven track record in AV/IT industry and project delivery position in UAE, Saudi Arabia or other GCC countries. Articulate and well-spoken in English (verbal and written) (required). Articulate and well-spoken in Arabic (verbal and written) (advantage). Great personal time management skills and the ability to work supervised and unsupervised and in line with deadline requirements. Confident speaking in front of groups of up to 10. Composed nature in the face of challenges. Proof of experience and examples of project delivery. Well-presented, neat, and able to speak in corporate settings. Fighting spirit and the drive to help us grow, improve and develop our business in the region.
Key Responsibilities:Work closely with Euro Tech Project Managers to achieve common goals. Proactively manage IT / AV project delivery process in line with instructions from the Operations Director. Ensure that project delivery is planned to ensure deadlines are achieved. Communicate client or third-party dependencies in a timely manner to ensure these do not delay fully functioning systems at handover date. Guide the projects team and allocate tasks in line with scope and deadlines. Assist the Pre-Sales team with product selection if needed. Assist HR in the recruitment process of project resources as required. Monitor SLA ticket deadlines for support requests on devices that fall under a Euro Tech maintenance agreement.
Qualifications:Project Management Professional Certification (PMP) (required) Prince2 Certified (required) ACP (Agile Certified Practitioner) (Desirable) Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience. Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in AV/ITStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management tools.
