Role Purpose:
The MIS Manager is responsible for end-to-end group financial reporting and consolidation for BFL Group, which operates across multiple countries. The role focuses on preparing monthly Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS, coordinating statutory audits, and delivering high-quality MIS reports and variance analysis to senior management. The position also supports the Finance Director in budgeting, forecasting, and providing financial insights across international operations.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare monthly Profit and Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports for all group entities. Manage group-level financial consolidation across multiple countries in compliance with IFRS. Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of financial data received from country finance teams. Drive monthly and annual closing processes and ensure adherence to group reporting timelines. Coordinate statutory audits and act as the primary finance point of contact for external auditors. Work closely with the Taxation Manager on tax provisions, deferred tax, transfer pricing, and statutory disclosures. Support the Finance Director in annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises. Perform detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, supported by clear commentary. Prepare consolidated MIS reports, dashboards, and Board-level financial packs. Review intercompany balances, eliminations, and reconciliations. Ensure consistent application of accounting policies across all countries. Analyze store-level and country-level profitability and cost structures. Support the standardization and automation of MIS and reporting processes. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports as required by senior management.
Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. Professional qualification (CA / CPA) preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in the same role with overall experience 10+ years in finance, MIS, or related functions, preferably in multi-country retail organizations. Strong exposure to multi-country financial consolidation and IFRS reporting. Hands-on experience managing statutory audits across multiple jurisdictions. Strong knowledge of IFRS and group consolidation. Deep understanding of retail finance and operational drivers. Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems. Strong budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis capabilities. Ability to manage large volumes of financial data across multiple countries. Strong coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills. High attention to detail with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
