Lapis Properties is seeking a dedicated and experienced Collection Officer to manage and optimize the collection of payments from clients and stakeholders within the UAE real estate market. The successful candidate will ensure timely collection of dues, maintain accurate financial records, and contribute to the company’s cash flow management. This is a key role that requires strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:Follow up with the clients to ensure prompt payment of outstanding dues. Maintain accurate records of all collections, communications, and transactions. Develop and implement proactive collection strategies to reduce outstanding balances. Collaborate with Sales departments to resolve disputes or payment delays. Build and maintain long-term, professional relationships with developers and partners. Prepare detailed reports and cash flow forecasts for management. Negotiate and monitor payment plans with clients. Escalate unresolved or high-risk cases to senior management with clear recommendations. Represent Lapis Properties with professionalism and integrity. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related business field. At least 1 years’ experience in the real estate sector as Collection Officer Strong knowledge of UAE financial and real estate regulations Analytical and strategic thinking skills Understanding of risk management and ethical standards Excellent communication and negotiation abilities Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills High level of integrity and confidentiality Proficient in English, Arabic and French is an advantage
