Roles & Responsibilities
Prepare detailed 2D shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation details for curtain walls, skylights, cladding, windows, and doors.
Prepare material take-offs (MTO) and Glass quantity take-offs.
Coordinate with structural engineers to ensure facade systems meet wind load and structural requirements.
Revise drawings based on consultant comments and ensure timely approval.
Work closely with the estimation and project management and production teams to resolve technical queries.
Desired Candidate Profile
Minimum 4–7 years of experience as a Facade Designer/Draftsman in the UAE aluminium and glass industry.
Expert proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D).
Experience with specialist facade software (e.g., Logikal, SchuCal) is highly preferred.
Knowledge of BIM/Revit is a strong advantage.
Deep understanding of various aluminium systems and facade engineering principles.
Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
