Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct detailed cost analysis of manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and cost reduction.
  • Develop and maintain standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead, ensuring accuracy and alignment with financial goals.
  • Analyze variances between standard and actual costs, investigating root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present monthly cost reports, providing insights into cost performance and trends to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CMA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting or a related role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Exhibits a strong understanding of cost accounting principles, standard costing, and variance analysis.
  • Proficient in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
