Roles & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Project Scheduling & Planning: Develop detailed, resource-loaded master schedules (baseline programs) using Primavera P6 or MS Project to define key milestones and critical paths.

• Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Track daily, weekly, and monthly progress against the baseline, producing detailed reports (S-curves, progress updates) that highlight achievements, delays, and critical events.

• Delay Analysis & Mitigation: Identify slippages, perform "what-if" scenarios, and recommend recovery plans to address potential delays.

• Claim Management: Assess Extension of Time (EOT) claims and variations using methodologies like window analysis or time impact analysis (TIA).

• Resource & Cash Flow Planning: Coordinate with project management to allocate manpower, equipment, and materials efficiently, and maintain cash flow projections.

• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with clients, contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to resolve scheduling issues and attend project meetings. 

Desired Candidate Profile

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Technical Proficiencies: Mastery of planning software (Primavera P6, MS Project) and CAD software is essential.

• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.

• Experience: Typically requires 3-5 years of experience in project planning or control, often with a background in on-site construction or design.

• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze complex data, interpret blueprints, and foresee project risks.

• Communication & Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present reports to stakeholders and negotiate with teams.

• Drafting/Modeling: AutoCAD, Civil 3D, BIM tools.

• Data Analysis: Microsoft Excel, Power BI.
