Role Description The Human Resources Director is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, responsible for leading the HR function and aligning people strategies with business objectives. This role oversees the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring consistency, fairness, and compliance with local labor and employment regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing employee relations, guiding managers on performance management, overseeing talent acquisition and onboarding, and driving initiatives related to engagement, retention, and organizational culture. The Human Resources Director will lead and mentor the HR team, manage HR operations such as payroll coordination and benefits administration in partnership with relevant stakeholders, and provide data-driven insights to senior leadership for strategic workforce planning. The role also involves partnering with cross-functional leaders to support change management, succession planning, and learning and development initiatives. Qualifications Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) management, including strategic HR planning and HR operations. Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and updating HR policies and procedures. Proven expertise in Employee Relations, including conflict resolution, coaching, and fostering an inclusive, respectful work environment. Hands-on experience with Performance Management, including goal setting, feedback processes, and performance review frameworks. Solid knowledge of Labor and Employment Law in the UAE and the ability to ensure compliance in all HR practices. Experience leading and developing HR teams and partnering with senior leadership on organizational strategy. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, including experience using HR metrics and HRIS tools. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CIPD, SHRM, HRCI) is preferred. Prior experience as an HR Director or senior HR leader, ideally in a multinational or fast-growing organization in the region.
