Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day factory operations and production activities.
Develop and execute production plans to meet project schedules and client requirements.
Lead production teams including supervisors, engineers, carpenters, machine operators, and support staff.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials.
Monitor production efficiency and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and approved shop drawings.
Coordinate with the Planning, Procurement, Design, QA/QC, and Project teams.
Monitor production KPIs, productivity, material wastage, and machine performance.
Ensure preventive maintenance of factory equipment and machinery.
Implement Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies throughout the factory.
Control manufacturing costs and optimize operational efficiency.
Resolve production issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Wood Technology, or a related field.
10–15 years of experience in joinery manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of joinery production processes, woodworking machinery, CNC operations, finishing, and assembly.
Experience in managing large-scale custom joinery production.
Good understanding of production planning, lean manufacturing, and quality management systems.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/MRP systems.
Experience in GCC/UAE joinery or interior fit-out manufacturing.
Knowledge of AutoCAD and production drawings.
Familiarity with ISO quality standards and HSE regulations.
