Role Description The Showroom Assistant is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In this role, the assistant welcomes visitors to the showroom, provides product information, and supports clients in selecting furnishings that align with their needs and design preferences. Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining product displays, ensuring the showroom is clean and organized, and assisting with visual merchandising. The Showroom Assistant also supports sales activities by preparing quotations, processing orders, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth customer experiences. The role involves answering inquiries in person, by phone, and online, and may include basic administrative tasks such as updating inventory records and scheduling consultations. Qualifications Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and Communication, with the ability to engage professionally and respectfully with diverse clients. Experience working in Showrooms and Retail Sales environments, ideally within furniture, interiors, or lifestyle brands. Sales skills, including the ability to understand customer needs, present product options, and support closing sales in a consultative manner. Attention to detail in showroom presentation, basic knowledge of visual merchandising, and interest in design and home furnishings. Ability to work on-site full time in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and stand or move around the showroom for extended periods. Proficiency in English; additional languages commonly spoken in Dubai are an advantage. Basic computer skills for handling point-of-sale systems, email, and inventory or CRM software. Previous experience in customer-facing or retail roles; a background in interior design or furniture sales is a plus.
