Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Senior Barista to lead daily coffee operations and deliver exceptional beverage quality and customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in specialty coffee preparation, team supervision, inventory management, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety. The Senior Barista will also support the Café Manager in training staff, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring an outstanding guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea, and other beverages according to company standards.

• Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and taste.

• Supervise and support baristas during daily operations.

• Train and mentor new baristas on coffee preparation, customer service, and hygiene standards.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment.

• Maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment, ensuring regular cleaning and maintenance.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

• Manage opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions when required.

• Assist in achieving sales targets through upselling and promoting menu items.

• Coordinate with the kitchen and service team to ensure smooth operations.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Hospitality certification is an advantage).

• Professional Barista certification is preferred.

• Food Safety/HACCP certification is an added advantage.
