Role Description The Security Guard role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Security Guard will monitor premises, control access points, and conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of people, property, and assets. Daily tasks include checking identification, managing visitor and contractor entry, observing for suspicious activity, and reporting incidents in accordance with company procedures. The role also involves responding calmly to emergencies, following established protocols, and coordinating with supervisors and local authorities when required. Security Guards will provide courteous assistance to occupants and visitors, offer directions and information, and maintain clear, accurate logs and reports.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills to interact professionally with occupants, visitors, and team members. Candidates should possess skills in physical security and private security to protect property, monitor access, and perform effective patrols. Candidates should possess personnel security awareness to support safe conduct of staff, contractors, and visitors on-site. Relevant experience as a security guard, facilities security, or similar role in commercial or residential properties. Ability to remain alert, respond quickly, and follow safety and emergency procedures under pressure. Basic report writing skills and ability to maintain accurate records of incidents and daily activities. Physical fitness sufficient for standing, walking, and conducting patrols for extended periods. Knowledge of local security regulations and willingness to complete any required security certifications or licenses. Availability to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
