Role Description We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organised Social Media Manager to develop and manage social media strategies that strengthen brand awareness, increase audience engagement, and support broader marketing objectives. The role will oversee social media activities across relevant platforms and ensure consistent, engaging, and high-quality brand communication. Key responsibilities include developing social media strategies and content calendars, planning and publishing engaging content, managing social media campaigns, and coordinating visual and written content across platforms. The Social Media Manager will monitor online conversations, respond to audience interactions, maintain brand voice, and identify opportunities to improve community engagement and brand visibility. The role will track and analyse social media performance, including reach, engagement, audience growth, traffic, and conversion metrics. It will use insights and trends to optimise content strategies, campaign performance, and platform-specific activities. The Social Media Manager will also collaborate with marketing, creative, product, and external partners to develop relevant and compelling social content. The successful candidate will stay informed about emerging platforms, social media trends, content formats, and audience behaviours while continuously improving social media strategies and maintaining a strong and consistent online presence. Qualifications Degree or relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, Media, Business, or a related discipline. Strong understanding of social media platforms, content strategies, audience engagement, and digital marketing principles. Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills. Strong creative skills with the ability to develop engaging and platform-appropriate content. Ability to develop social media strategies, content calendars, campaign concepts, and publishing plans. Strong understanding of social media analytics, performance metrics, and audience insights. Ability to monitor trends, competitor activities, emerging platforms, and changes in audience behaviour. Good knowledge of paid and organic social media marketing is desirable. Familiarity with social media management, scheduling, analytics, design, and content creation tools. Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines. Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, creative partners, influencers, agencies, and other stakeholders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to brand consistency. Proactive, adaptable, trend-aware, and results-oriented approach to social media management.
