Plan, coordinate, and supervise the execution of *interior fit-out and joinery projects* from project award through handover.
Review project drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work, and contract requirements to ensure proper understanding of project deliverables.
Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Supervisors, Design/Technical, Planning, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, Commercial, and other departments.
Monitor day-to-day project progress and ensure works are executed according to the approved project schedule.
Review and coordinate *architectural, interior design, shop drawings, and MEP coordination drawings*.
Coordinate with the Technical/Design team regarding drawing discrepancies, RFIs, technical issues, and site requirements.
Supervise subcontractors and ensure works are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and quality requirements.
Coordinate material requirements, deliveries, approvals, and installation with Procurement and Site teams.
Monitor *Material Submittals, shop drawings, technical submissions, inspections, and consultant approvals* to avoid project delays.
Conduct regular site inspections and ensure proper workmanship and compliance with project specifications.
Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to maintain required quality and safety standards.
Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance.
Identify project risks, delays, technical issues, and site constraints and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
Prepare daily and weekly progress reports and provide accurate updates to the Project Manager.
Attend site meetings, coordination meetings, and consultant/client meetings as required.
Support the Project Manager in managing variations, site instructions, measurements, and commercial requirements.
Coordinate snagging, rectification, testing, commissioning, and final handover activities.
Ensure as-built drawings, O&M documents, warranties, approvals, and other handover documentation are properly coordinated.
Maintain accurate project records and ensure timely closure of technical and site-related issues.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor's Degree in *Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Architecture, or a related field*.
*Minimum 4–8 years of UAE experience as a Project Engineer.*
*Interior Fit-Out / Joinery experience is mandatory.*
Strong hands-on experience in *commercial, retail, hospitality, F&B, office, or high-end interior fit-out projects*.
Good knowledge of interior fit-out execution, including *partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, joinery, painting, and MEP coordination*.
Strong ability to read and interpret *architectural, ID, shop, and MEP drawings*.
Experience in coordinating with *clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments*.
Hands-on experience with *shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, technical submissions, inspections, and consultant approvals*.
Good understanding of project planning, resource coordination, procurement, quality control, and site execution.
Experience monitoring project progress and coordinating recovery actions for delays.
Proficiency in *AutoCAD and MS Office*.
Knowledge of Primavera P6/MS Project is an added advantage.
Strong communication, coordination, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under project deadlines.
UAE Driving License is an added advantage.
