We are looking to hire a Quantity Surveyor—(Post Contract) to join our client's team in Dubai, one of the biggest organisations in the region.
This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable.
The role will be with the Contract & Procurement Department and will be responsible for day-to-day functional leadership of estimating and quantity surveying skill sets to enable the organisation to achieve project delivery goals post-contract.
Key responsibilities:Review and process variations of consultants and contractors in accordance with the contract. Administer variations of consultants and contractors in accordance with the client’s Change Management procedures. Review and ensuring insurances and bank guarantees (bonds) are in accordance with the requirements of the contract. Review EOT and prolongations cost claims. Prepare payment certificates & Payment valuations Prepare monthly cost report, cashflow and accruals. Close out of final account, preparing final payment certificate and release of bank guarantees.
Knowledge, skills & Experience:Minimum 5 years’ experience with consultant, developer, or mixture of Consultant & Contractor (UAE experience is an advantage) Graduate degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent Excellent good command of English and strong communication skills Experience with various aspects of Quantity Surveying such as Contract Administration, Field, and Drawing Measurements, Material Takeoff, Estimating, Valuations, Bills of Quantities, Reports, Claims, Dispute Resolution, Variations, Arbitrations, Contractual Letters, Final Accounts preparation, and project close-out Immediately available candidates will be preferred Good negotiation skills & change management skills

المسؤوليات الرئيسية: مراجعة ومعالجة تغييرات الاستشاريين والمقاولين وفقاً للعقد. إدارة تغييرات الاستشاريين والمقاولين وفقاً لإجراءات إدارة التغيير الخاصة بالعميل. مراجعة والتأكد من أن التأمينات والضمانات البنكية (الكفالات) تتوافق مع متطلبات العقد. مراجعة مطالبات تمديد الوقت (EOT) وتكاليف التمديد. إعداد شهادات الدفع وتقييمات الدفع. إعداد تقرير التكلفة الشهري والتدفق النقدي والمستحقات. إغلاق الحساب النهائي، وإعداد شهادة الدفع النهائية وإصدار الضمانات البنكية.
المعرفة والمهارات والخبرة: خبرة لا تقل عن 5 سنوات مع استشاري أو مطور أو مزيج من استشاري ومقاول (خبرة الإمارات ميزة إضافية) درجة جامعية في تقدير الكميات أو ما يعادلها. إجادة ممتازة للغة الإنجليزية ومهارات تواصل قوية. خبرة في مختلف جوانب تقدير الكميات مثل إدارة العقود، والقياسات الميدانية والرسومات، وحصر المواد، والتقدير، والتقييمات، وجداول الكميات، والتقارير، والمطالبات، وفض النزاعات، والتغييرات، والتحكيم، والمراسلات التعاقدية، وإعداد الحسابات النهائية، وإغلاق المشاريع. سيتم تفضيل المرشحين المتاحين للعمل فوراً. مهارات تفاوض جيدة ومهارات إدارة التغيير.
