Senior Procurement Advisory Manager

The project:

Mace is supporting the delivery of a large‑scale, next‑generation digital infrastructure programme in the region, working alongside a leading developer in the data centre sector. The project brings together complex design coordination, fast‑paced delivery and rigorous governance to meet the demands of a mission‑critical environment. Our team is applying global best practice in programme, project and commercial management to help shape resilient, future‑ready infrastructure at scale.

Leads procurement and supply chain delivery across one or more projects, providing best practice solutions, line management support and clear direction to managers and assistant managers. Builds capability across the team, supporting continued development while driving consistent, high-quality outcomes for clients and projects.

You’ll be responsible for:

• You will manage delivery from project inception/brief, through design development and planning, contractor procurement and construction phase in accordance with the overall delivery program and agreed project milestones.
• You will manage tasks and associated deliverables in support of the Associate Director and other senior leaders, alongside the wider project and client teams, to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of the project.

• You will manage design and wider consultant teams in a collaborative manner to ensure effective completion of responsibilities. 
• You will lead and manage the project team and relevant stakeholders to achieve strategic project key performance indicators (KPIs). 
• You will actively network, innovate, and seek understanding of best practice, utilising the full depth of knowledge of Mace Group, the Centres of Excellence, Mace Way Control Centre and Knowledge Hub.

Your responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end procurement process for EPC and major construction packages across UAE and European / International markets.

  
  

• Manage the RFP process, including tender documentation, contractor/consultant evaluation, and commercial negotiation.

  
  

• Liaise with legal, technical, and project teams to ensure contracts reflect project requirements and risk allocation.

  
  

• Support contract award recommendations and present findings to senior stakeholders and governance committees.

  
  

• Manage contractor relationships throughout the procurement lifecycle, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations.

  
  

• Monitor market trends, pricing, and contractor capacity across UAE / International markets to inform procurement strategy. 

  
  

• Lead end-to-end procurement strategies, market engagement and tender processes.

  
  

• Manage supply chain performance, negotiations and recommendation reporting.

  
  

• Provide commercial, technical and market expertise, ensuring compliant, ethical procurement.

  
  

• Lead teams and stakeholders to deliver innovation, excellence and net zero outcomes.

  
  

You’ll need to have:

• Structured, proactive approach to problem-solving.

  
  

• CIPS Level 4 Diploma or equivalent.

  
  

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

  
  

• Builds relationships and supports high-performing teams.
