Job Details

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company growth objectives.

  • Identify, develop and acquire new customers across food, FMCG, spices, frozen food, meat, bakery, confectionery, dairy and related industries.

  • Manage key accounts and strengthen long-term customer relationships.

  • Achieve agreed monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets.

  • Prepare, negotiate and follow up on quotations, pricing, commercial terms and contracts.

  • Understand customer packaging requirements and recommend appropriate packaging structures and solutions.

  • Coordinate closely with R&D, Prepress, Cylinder, Printing, Lamination, Slitting, Pouching, QC and Production teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders.

  • Manage customer artwork, specifications, samples, trials and approval processes.

  • Follow up quotations, purchase orders, production schedules and deliveries.

  • Address customer complaints and coordinate timely corrective and preventive actions.

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing and emerging customer requirements.

  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and management reports.

  • Coordinate with Finance to support timely customer collections and payment follow-up.

  • Identify opportunities for new products, applications, customers and market segments.

  • Maintain accurate customer, quotation, order and sales records.


    TECHNICAL & INDUSTRY KNOWLEDGE

    The successful candidate should have a practical understanding of flexible packaging materials, structures and manufacturing processes, including: PET/PE, PET/LDPE, PET/METPET/PE, BOPP/CPP, BOPP/METBOPP/PE, PET/AL/PE and other laminated structures.

    Commercial & Technical Understanding:

    • Basic knowledge of GSM, micron, material consumption and packaging costing.

    • Understanding of printing cylinders, artwork and prepress requirements.

    • Basic knowledge of food-contact packaging requirements and quality documentation.

    • Ability to communicate customer technical requirements effectively to internal production and technical teams.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Packaging Technology or a related discipline.

  • 5-10 years of relevant B2B sales experience in flexible packaging or a related packaging industry.

  • Proven experience in business development and key account management.

  • Existing customer network within the UAE/GCC flexible packaging market will be an advantage.

  • Strong commercial, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Ability to understand technical packaging requirements and translate them into commercial solutions.

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, Excel and CRM/sales reporting systems.

  • Good understanding of costing, pricing, margins and commercial negotiations.

  • Valid UAE driving license is preferred.

  • Disposition to travel for customer visits and business development activities as required.
