King's College Hospital London Dubai is seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Phlebotomist to join our Laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safe, accurate, and efficient specimen collection while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect blood and other specimens from patients of all age groups using appropriate collection techniques.
• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate specimen labeling.
• Ensure patients have completed required test preparations before sample collection.
• Maintain patient comfort, safety, and professionalism throughout the procedure.
• Accurately document specimen collection and ensure timely delivery to the laboratory.
• Adhere to infection control, patient safety, and quality standards at all times.
• Collaborate effectively with laboratory staff, nurses, and physicians

Requirements

• Valid DHA License as a Phlebotomist or Medical Laboratory Technologist/Technician (mandatory).
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or an equivalent healthcare qualification.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant phlebotomy experience, preferably within a hospital or clinic setting.
• Strong knowledge of specimen collection procedures and infection control practices.
• Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
• Proficient in using healthcare systems and basic Microsoft Office applications.
