Role Description The Graphic Designer role at Khaleej Current is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Graphic Designer will create visual assets for digital news articles, social media, marketing campaigns, and brand communications, ensuring a consistent and engaging visual identity. Day-to-day tasks include designing graphics and layouts, developing visual concepts for stories, producing logos and icons, and collaborating with editors, writers, and marketing teams to support content and brand initiatives. The role also involves preparing files for digital publishing, optimizing designs for multiple platforms and formats, and staying up to date with design trends relevant to the Gulf region.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Graphics and Graphic Design, with experience creating visual assets for digital media.
- Proficiency in Logo Design and Branding to develop and maintain a consistent visual identity.
- Solid understanding of Typography for clear, readable, and visually appealing layouts.
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, or equivalent).
- Portfolio demonstrating digital design work, preferably in media, publishing, or news environments.
- Ability to work on-site in Dubai, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom setting.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, with attention to detail and an eye for visual storytelling.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field is preferred.
