Lead and manage structural engineering and design activities for residential, commercial, high-rise, and mixed-use development projects.

1. Review and approve structural designs, calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documents prepared by consultants and design teams.

2. Coordinate with architects, MEP consultants, civil engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure design integration.

3. Ensure structural designs comply with UAE Building Codes, Dubai Municipality requirements, and relevant international standards.

4. Review structural systems including reinforced concrete, post-tensioned structures, steel structures, foundations, retaining structures, and other structural elements.

5. Conduct technical reviews of structural calculations, analysis models, shop drawings, method statements, and material submissions.

6. Monitor structural design progress and ensure deliverables are completed in accordance with approved project schedules.

7. Identify design risks, technical issues, and potential constructability concerns and recommend appropriate solutions.

8. Provide technical guidance and support to junior structural engineers and design teams.

9. Review structural value-engineering proposals while maintaining safety, quality, functionality, and project requirements.

10. Coordinate with site teams and consultants to resolve structural design and construction-related issues.

11. Participate in design review meetings, technical discussions, progress meetings, and consultant coordination meetings.

12. Review and provide technical comments on contractor submissions, RFIs, inspection requests, and structural-related documentation.

13. Ensure structural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

14. Support project teams during construction, testing, inspections, and handover stages.

15. Maintain proper documentation of structural designs, revisions, approvals, and technical correspondence.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field.
7–12 years relevant experience in structural design, analysis and project management.
Strong knowledge of steel/aluminum structures and applicable design codes.
Experience with structural analysis software. UAE/GCC experience required.
