Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented MEP Draftsman to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) drafting and will play a critical role in the design and development of our portable cabin projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed MEP drawings and plans for portable cabins using AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate and efficient designs.
• Interpret architectural and engineering drawings to create precise MEP layouts.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and verify field conditions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback from the design team and clients.
• Maintain organized records of all MEP drawings and project documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of project specifications and material lists.
• Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases of projects.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as an MEP Draftsman, preferably in the portable cabin or construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, codes, and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with 3D modeling software
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
• Familiarity with project management software.
