Business Development Research Analyst

Position Overview: In support of growing our footprint in the federal space, we are seeking an individual to join our team with an understanding of the federal bidding process, the procurement cycle, and proposal management. This individual should be able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, teaming partners, and customers in support of the company s growth. This individual will play a pivotal role in evaluating our capabilities, identifying potential opportunities, and enhancing KNZ Solutions' business processes and systems. Key Responsibilities: Monitoring: o Review and analyzing solicitations (RFP, RFI, RFQ, etc.) along with opportunities for bidding and for pipeline consideration. o Familiarity with using USAspending.gov, GovWin, SAM.com, etc. and/or other tools for opportunity assessment. Requirements Gathering: o Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. o Create clear and detailed documentation of business processes, requirements, and solutions. Data Analysis: o Analyze data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. o Review requirements and outline concerns, risks, and/or benefits to company as part of the Opportunity Summary Report. o Acquire accurate budget, incumbent information, market/customer insights, potential partners, etc. o Devise and provide a summary report of each opportunity that shall be archived in a company repository. o Download and curate all documents associated with each opportunity for assessment and decision-making. Project Management: o Responsible for weekly updates to leadership o Support project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet objectives. Stakeholder Communication: o Serve as a liaison between business units, technology teams, and support teams to ensure alignment and effective communication on opportunities.

Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the technology or cybersecurity industry. • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum). • Certification in business analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA). Experience: • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business analysis or a related field. Skills: • Strategic thinking skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Exceptional oral and written skills • Detail oriented, ability to meet deadlines, and manage time in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management tools. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques. • Experience with business process modeling and improvement
