• Lead and develop the team to establish strong relationships with customers to maximize business growth and opportunities;
• Liaise with customers in order to provide excellent service and address the specific needs of customers;
• Responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies that will drive revenue growth;
• Identify opportunities for product enhancements and margin improvements;
• Negotiating with vendors and suppliers to secure the best prices and terms for merchandise;
• Explore and source new factories and maintain a strong network to meet customers’ current and future business needs;
• Closely monitor all on going production to ensure on-time delivery;
• Manage orders with factory and coordinate internal parties to ensure product quality and on-time delivery;
• Lead the merchandising teams on daily operations and problem solving;
• Other Ad hoc duties as assigned.
• Tertiary educated in Textile & Clothing or related discipline;
• Minimum 8-10 years solid merchandising experience, of which preferably over 2-3 years managerial level in garments trading for all items;
• Familiar with South America Market, Europe Market or medium to low-end product experience is highly preferable;
• Solid experience in vendor selection and production operation in Bangladesh, India and China will be an advantage;
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team;
• Excellent planning, organizing, negotiation and problem-solving skills, self-driven and proactive;
• Excellent command of spoken and written English & Mandarin.
