To lead and manage the private banking within the bank in a newly created segment. This involves developing and implementing strategies to grow the business and ensuring that the team delivers excellent service and advise to clients. He/she is also responsible for managing budgets, developing and maintaining partnership with other departments within the bank and complying with relevant laws, regulations and policies. This person should come with a strong network and good leadership and management experience. Generic Accountability * Developing and implementing strategies to grow the private banking division including identifying new business opportunities, expanding the division's market share and building relationship with high-net-worth individuals and key clients. * Managing the financial performance of the divisions, including setting targets, monitoring progress and taking corrective action as needed. * Leading and manging a team of professionals, including setting performance goals, providing mentorship and support and evaluating employee performance. Job Specific Accountabilities * Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, regulators and other financial institutions * Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including those related to Islamic Finance. * Providing personalized financial services to private banking clients, including advice on sharia compliant investment and financing options. * Stay up to date with industry trends and development and continually seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the team's skills and knowledge.
