Commercial Manager - Pharmaceutical and Veterinarian

The Commercial Manager will be responsible for leading and executing the sales and marketing strategies for a company specializing in snake and scorpion venom extraction and the sale of peptides, toxins, enzymes, and proteins derived from venom. This role requires a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in commercialization and business development. Job Responsibilities: Sales and Business Development: Identify and target potential clients, partners, and markets for venom-derived products. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including pharmaceutical companies, research institutions, and biotech firms. Lead the negotiation of contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial terms. Market Analysis and Strategy: Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for growth. Develop and refine the company's market positioning and value proposition. Create and execute strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's customer base. Product Promotion and Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement effective marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Develop marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and digital content, to showcase the benefits of venom-derived products. Attend industry conferences, exhibitions, and events to enhance the company's visibility and network. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the research and development team to understand the scientific aspects of venom extraction and product development. Collaborate with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products to clients. Sales Performance Management: Set sales targets and KPIs aligned with company goals and revenue objectives. Monitor and analyze sales performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize sales strategies. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on sales achievements and challenges. Client Relationship Management: Act as the main point of contact for key clients, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and feedback. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Biology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven experience in sales, business development, or commercial roles within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industry. Strong knowledge of venom-derived products and their applications in research, medicine, or related fields. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and stakeholders at various levels. Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to navigate complex market dynamics. Analytical mindset to interpret sales data and market trends for decision-making. Ability to work collaboratively across cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software. Willingness to travel to attend conferences, meetings, and client visits.
